Jessica N. Roshon began working with Richard Taps in 2014. She graduated from Capital University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and minors in Philosophy and Political Science. Jessica went on to graduate from Capital University Law School in 2015, summa cum laude. Jessica was the Editor-in-Chief of the Capital University Law Review and graduated with Pro Bono honors.

Jessica has significant legal writing experience and is familiar with various estate planning and estate administration issues. She also has an understanding of complex Medicaid and VA benefits issues. Jessica enjoys meeting new clients and strives to keep her clients engaged with prompt responses and updates.

Jessica is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.  There are only 34 attorneys in Ohio who are certified in elder law.

Co-Author of the Ohio Medicaid Manual (revised in 2021), which explains how to qualify for Medicaid benefits in Ohio.  The Ohio Medicaid Manual is a guide for attorneys who practice in the area of Medicaid planning.

Jessica grew up in Massillon, Ohio and now lives in Pickerington with her husband.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys being outdoors, reading, and photography.
