2020 Ohio Medicaid Manual Seminar

The 2020 Ohio Medicaid Manual Seminar for Attorneys will be a three-day live interactive webinar.  The seminar will explain the basic Medicaid eligibility rules and planning options.  New items to be addressed this year include the “name on the check” rule and the proposed changes to counting IRAs in payout status.  We will also review recent administrative appeal decisions and work through case studies in breakout sessions.  We will also share practical tips and strategies for Medicaid planning, applications, and appeals.

2019 seminar attendees and book purchasers will receive an email with updated pages to add to the 2019 Ohio Medicaid Manual.

All new attendees and those who attended a seminar or purchased a book prior to 2019 will receive the new and revised edition of The Ohio Medicaid Manual before the 2020 Seminar. This manual provides you with the skill set to practice in Medicaid and includes valuable tools and forms, applicable law, relevant administrative appeal and hearing decisions, case studies, and Taps Tips.

The 2020 Ohio Medicaid Manual is available for separate purchase below.  You can purchase a full 2020 Ohio Medicaid Manual, or if you have the 2019 Manual you can purchase the update.  The update will be emailed to you to print and insert into your 2019 Manual.

Seminar Value

To quote a few of the attendees from previous years:

“I have attended Medicaid Seminars all over the country, participated in giving two, and been through the full MPS course twice. This is “hands down” the best and most helpful seminar that I have ever been to. Congratulations on the excellent work product and presentation … and Thank You!”

“Excellent program. Written materials also excellent.”

“Medicaid manual is excellent, well organized. I like that all the code reference and case references are in footnotes rather than in the text, page #’s easy to follow along with Rich. Very worth the price of the seminar; great value. Best presentation I have heard on the topic. Rich is very knowledgeable, experienced, and current.”

“I think that your method of using the case analysis was very helpful. I haven’t seen that done and it really gave me a feeling of looking inside your office/practice on the issue that you covered. I hope this was worth it to you because it was very valuable to me and I hope that you would do this on a somewhat regular basis.”
