2021 Ohio Medicaid Manual Seminar

The 2021 Ohio Medicaid Manual Seminar for Attorneys will be a three-day live interactive webinar.  The seminar will explain the basic Medicaid eligibility rules and planning options.  This year’s seminar will include a comparison of the rules in other states where IRAs are not counted as resources.  We will also walk attendees through a detailed overview of the client intake and Medicaid application process.

As in prior years, we will review recent administrative appeal decisions and work through case studies in breakout sessions.

2020 seminar attendees and book purchasers will receive an email with updated pages to add to the 2020 Ohio Medicaid Manual.

All new attendees and those who attended a seminar or purchased a book prior to 2020 will receive the new and revised edition of the Ohio Medicaid Manual before the 2021 Seminar. This manual provides you with the skill set to practice in Medicaid and includes valuable tools and forms, applicable law, relevant administrative appeal and hearing decisions, case studies, and Taps Tips.

The 2021 Ohio Medicaid Manual is available for separate purchase below.  You can purchase a full 2021 Ohio Medicaid Manual, or if you have the 2020 Manual you can purchase the update.  The update will be emailed to you to print and insert into your 2020 Manual.

Seminar Value

To quote a few of the attendees from previous years:

“I have attended Medicaid Seminars all over the country, participated in giving two, and been through the full MPS course twice. This is “hands down” the best and most helpful seminar that I have ever been to. Congratulations on the excellent work product and presentation … and Thank You!”

“Excellent program. Written materials also excellent.”

“Medicaid manual is excellent, well organized. I like that all the code reference and case references are in footnotes rather than in the text, page #’s easy to follow along with Rich. Very worth the price of the seminar; great value. Best presentation I have heard on the topic. Rich is very knowledgeable, experienced, and current.”

“I think that your method of using the case analysis was very helpful. I haven’t seen that done and it really gave me a feeling of looking inside your office/practice on the issue that you covered. I hope this was worth it to you because it was very valuable to me and I hope that you would do this on a somewhat regular basis.”
