2023 Ohio Medicaid Manual Seminar
The 2023 Ohio Medicaid Manual seminar will be held on October 26 and 27.
This year’s seminar will be a two-day seminar for attorneys, and attendees will have the option to attend in-person in Columbus or via Zoom.
As of February 1, 2023, the public health emergency and the continuous coverage provisions separated. States are now resuming routine eligibility operations and ending the protections our clients received since 2020. We will address the return to “normal” Medicaid processing. We will also focus on the new IRA policy and its effects almost a year after its implementation.
Registration will begin in early August, so check back on this page to register. In the meantime, we have discontinued the sale of the 2022 Ohio Medicaid Manual. Once registration opens, you can purchase the 2023 Ohio Medicaid Manual, which will ship around Thanksgiving 2023 (for stand-alone book orders; seminar attendees will receive their 2023 book prior to the seminar).

To quote a few of the attendees from previous years:
“I have attended Medicaid Seminars all over the country, participated in giving two, and been through the full MPS course twice. This is “hands down” the best and most helpful seminar that I have ever been to. Congratulations on the excellent work product and presentation … and Thank You!”
“Excellent program. Written materials also excellent.”
“Medicaid manual is excellent, well organized. I like that all the code reference and case references are in footnotes rather than in the text, page #’s easy to follow along with Rich. Very worth the price of the seminar; great value. Best presentation I have heard on the topic. Rich is very knowledgeable, experienced, and current.”
“I think that your method of using the case analysis was very helpful. I haven’t seen that done and it really gave me a feeling of looking inside your office/practice on the issue that you covered. I hope this was worth it to you because it was very valuable to me and I hope that you would do this on a somewhat regular basis.”
