The Ohio Medicaid Manual  is a training manual for attorneys that is presented during an annual seminar conducted by the Law Office of Richard Taps.  The Manual and seminar address Medicaid eligibility criteria, transfer rules, planning strategies, and recent developments in the Medicaid world.

Our most recent seminar was hosted on August 18 and 19, 2016 at the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging.  This seminar dedicated the first day to newer attorneys and basic information, while the second day focused on updates and changes to the world of Medicaid since the prior seminar in 2015.

In August 2016, Ohio transitioned to a 1634 Medicaid state, which brought many regulation changes.  Some of the questions are yet to be answered, but we are continuing to stay on top of the changes and effects on Medicaid applications across Ohio.

We expect to host another seminar in the fall of 2017, though the details are not yet finalized.  Past attendees and book purchasers are added to a list for email announcements for future seminars.  If you would like to be added to the list, please send us an email.
